Maytag MFW2055DRM00 Refrigerator Door Hinge: Safe Checks for a Broken Lower Door Piece

For a Maytag MFW2055DRM00 door that has dropped, rubs, or only closes when lifted, first stop using the door as normal and support it before any hinge-area inspection. Check the visible lower door and hinge area, cabinet level, gasket, bins, and obstructions without forcing the door or removing it.
