Terms of use
The practical and safety boundaries for using FixGraph repair guidance and submitting reader observations.
Last updated September 2, 2026
Using FixGraph
By using the public site, you agree to use it lawfully and to apply your own judgment. If you do not accept these terms, do not rely on the site for a repair decision.
Information, not a diagnosis
FixGraph provides general troubleshooting and educational information. It is not an inspection, remote diagnosis, service contract, warranty, emergency service, or promise that a repair will succeed.
Conditions that look similar can have different causes. The exact manufacturer documentation, site conditions, local rules, permits, and a qualified person's judgment take priority over a general guide.
Safety and professional work
Do not use a guide to bypass a safety control or to continue work when the condition is uncertain. Stop before gas, combustion, high-voltage, refrigerant, structural, contaminated-water, work-at-height, or other hazardous work that requires qualified service.
Reader submissions
You are responsible for the display name and observation you submit. Submit only content you are entitled to share, and do not include personal information, confidential material, advertising, links, unlawful content, or instructions that defeat a safety feature.
FixGraph may review, decline, edit for safe presentation, unpublish, or mark a submission deleted. Submission does not guarantee publication or a response.
Third-party sources
Links to manufacturer, government, standards, or community sources are provided for context. FixGraph does not control those sites and does not guarantee that a linked page will remain available, unchanged, or applicable to your exact equipment.
Acceptable use
- Do not interfere with the site, its security controls, moderation, or rate limits.
- Do not submit automated spam, impersonate another person, or publish another person's private information.
- Do not present a FixGraph page as a certification, endorsement, or substitute for required professional work.
Availability and changes
Pages, features, and source links may be corrected, replaced, withdrawn, or unavailable. These terms may be updated when the public service changes; the last-updated date identifies the version shown on this page.
