Bra Wire Stuck in an Electrolux EW6SN526W Washer

Stop the Electrolux EW6SN526W as soon as a bra wire or other metal object is suspected between the drum sections; do not run another cycle to see whether the scraping stops. Disconnect the washer before inspecting the door seal, drum holes and any externally accessible drain filter, and wait for hot water to cool before opening a filter.
