KitchenAid Refrigerator Shows the Wrong Water Filter

Do not force a KitchenAid refrigerator water filter or assume that an email, subscription recommendation or filter number applies to your refrigerator. Read the complete model number from the refrigerator label, compare the old cartridge and its housing with KitchenAid's official model-based filter lookup, and use the exact filter-specific instructions for that refrigerator.
