LG Craft Ice Maker Stuck Open: Reset Beeps but It Will Not Close

If an LG Craft Ice maker is left in an open or dump position and the reset only beeps, do not force the tray, pry the mechanism, or apply a hair dryer or other heat. First identify whether you are looking at the maker's moving mold/arm or the removable ice bin, then turn the Craft Ice feature off using the exact refrigerator controls.
