Liebherr 5188 Freezer Ice Maker Freezes Cubes but Does Not Drop Them

If a Liebherr freezer identified only as 5188 fills with water and freezes cubes but drops them only every few hours, do not assume that a timing sensor, motor or control board has failed. Liebherr publishes several complete 5188 designations, so first read the full appliance designation and service number from the rating tag and use the matching instructions.
