GE GFW655SPVDS intermittently will not spin while the pump runs when idle
For the GE GFW655SPVDS, separate a real drain-pump run from the low-speed basket movement of the optional UltraFresh Vent feature. GE's exact model manual says that a pump running while the washer is not in use is normal when the drain sump detects an undesired water level, with a possible open faucet or blockage in the water-valve path; it says to shut off the water valve, inspect for blockage, and keep the washer software current.
