Maytag YMED5630HW2 Dryer Only Starts After the Drum Is Moved

Do not keep hand-starting the Maytag YMED5630HW2 drum or bypassing its door switch to make a cycle run. First perform only the manufacturer’s external checks: select a permitted dry cycle, hold Start for two to five seconds, clear Control Lock, confirm the door latches, and check the dryer’s external power and breakers.
