GE Microwave Keypad Acts Shorted or Erratic

“Keypad short” is a symptom description, not a confirmed GE diagnosis. If a GE microwave keypad ignores presses, repeats inputs, beeps by itself, or starts a function without the intended command, stop using it and do not open the cabinet.
