ASKO dishwasher will not start, lights flash, or dispenser malfunctions: check controls, door, and cycle

ASKO's US dishwasher guide says to press Start/Stop and close the door within 4 seconds, verify delayed start is not active, and clean or hold each keypad deliberately if the controls are unresponsive.
