On the BOV800XL, the FUNCTION dial is supposed to move the indicator through cooking functions on the LCD. If turning it slowly still skips choices, moves in the wrong direction, or changes inconsistently, first stop a cooking cycle, let the oven cool, and perform only Breville’s documented unplug-and-reconnect reset.
