A commercial dryer display code is model-specific: photograph the exact code, note when it appears, and use the matching owner or service manual. Before service, make only the safe checks supported for that code, such as door, lint/airflow, load size, level, or supply power. A code that returns after the model-approved reset, a heat or gas symptom, or any electrical or fire warning needs qualified commercial-laundry service.

A commercial dryer with making noise should be taken through the control state, lint screen, exhaust airflow, and drum or load checks. Lint restriction, overheating, repeated errors, or drive problems require taking the unit out of service and using qualified commercial service.

A commercial dryer that is not drying needs an airflow and heat check: clean the lint filter, inspect the exhaust path for bends or blockage, verify the selected cycle and load, and confirm the drum tumbles. A returning ventilation or heat code, gas odor, or failed heater requires qualified service.

A commercial dryer that tumbles without heat may have restricted airflow, wrong/failed supply, or an internal heating/thermal fault. Clean the lint screen, inspect accessible exhaust and verify external supply only; clear airflow with no heat needs commercial service.

For a commercial dryer that will not turn on, separate a dark control from a machine that has power but will not start the motor. Check the designated supply, door closure, timer or cycle selection, and any owner-visible status indication.
