Stop using the air fryer immediately. If it is safe to do so, switch it off and unplug it by the plug; if the plug or outlet is hot, smoking, sparking, melted or unsafe to touch, turn off the circuit and keep clear instead of pulling the cord.

If an air fryer does not stay on after the basket is pushed in, first confirm that the unit has power, then remove excess food and re-seat the basket or drawer until it is fully closed or clicks into place. Set the cooking time or preset after the basket is seated.

Stop using the air fryer and the surge protector when the protector trips; do not keep resetting it, move the plug to an extension cord, or reconnect the fryer to see whether it trips again. A trip can reflect an overloaded or damaged power strip, a damaged outlet or cord, or a fault in the unbranded air fryer, and the symptom alone cannot identify which one.

First separate a completely dead air fryer from one whose display turns on but will not begin cooking. Stop using the Cosori air fryer and unplug it. Do not plug it in again to see whether it still works, use a travel plug adapter as a voltage converter, change the wiring, or open the housing.
