First determine what not completing means on your Crosley dryer: it may stop early while clothes are damp, stop completely during a cycle, or keep tumbling after the display says the cycle is complete. For an early stop, check the load size and moisture-sensing behavior, clean the lint screen, and confirm the vent moves air.

Treat a rotten-egg, sulfur-like, or otherwise suspected gas smell from a Crosley gas dryer as a possible gas leak. Do not try to light any appliance, touch electrical switches, use a phone inside, or keep operating the dryer.

A brief squeak when a Crosley dryer starts and the normal sound of the drum turning can be expected, but a continuing squeak, thump, hum, chirp, scraping, or rattling needs a closer check. First identify when the sound occurs, then disconnect power before inspecting the level floor, exposed cabinet screws, lint-filter opening, and drum for loose objects.
