Do not pull or pry a locked Crosley washer door. A front-load door can remain locked while a cycle is running, while water is in the drum, while the load is still hot or moving, or briefly while the control completes a drain or unlock sequence.

A Crosley washer that shakes or walks during spin is most often reacting to an unbalanced load, feet that are not all firmly on the floor, a damaged or unsuitable floor, or installation hardware that was not removed. Pause the cycle, keep hands out of the moving basket, redistribute the load, and check the exact model's installation instructions before moving the machine.

A Crosley washer can make normal clicking, water-flow, gear, electric-hum, or motor sounds, but a new scrape, grinding noise, repeated hard knock, or violent movement needs a stop-and-check decision. Note whether the sound occurs during fill, wash agitation, drain, or spin.

If a Crosley washer leaves water in the tub, first pause it and keep the lid or door closed until the basket has stopped. Check the external drain hose for kinks or a blockage, confirm the hose is installed with the model's required air gap and position, and inspect the household drain.

First decide whether the washer truly receives no water or is simply sensing and using a lower high-efficiency water level. Keep the lid closed, cancel any pause or lockout shown on the display, and press Start/Pause once.

When a Crosley washing machine will not spin, first check whether it still contains water, whether the lid or door is fully closed, and whether the load is tightly packed or out of balance. Redistribute the wet clothes and use the model's Drain & Spin or Rinse & Spin option when available.

When a Crosley washer appears dead, first separate a completely dark panel from a washer that lights but will not start. Check the cord and outlet, then the household breaker or fuse, using only normal external controls.

Stop a Crosley washer as soon as a puddle forms, keep water away from the plug and controls, and close the water supply if the flow continues. Identify whether the first wet point is at the door, dispenser, rear hose, drain connection, or underneath, and note whether it occurs during filling, washing, or draining.
