Start with the dishwasher stopped and cool enough to inspect: push both racks fully in, remove any plate, pan handle, or utensil projecting past a rack, and wipe loose debris from the door edge and gasket. Stop the program and close the dishwasher's water tap before investigating a continuing leak. If water is near electrical connections, keep hands dry and do not reach for the plug; isolate power only from a safe, accessible control and call qualified service.

First locate when and where the noise occurs: loading or rack movement, filling, washing, draining, drying, or the entire cycle. On the opened Hisense dishwasher manual, a rattling sound is associated with dishes that are not secure or spray arms that cannot rotate; with power disconnected and the tub cool, rearrange the load and spin the spray arms by hand only as the manual permits.

Stop the program and first distinguish a normal small amount of water in a filter sump from water covering the tub floor. If the dishwasher is still filling, overflowing, or shows a water-level fault, close the water tap before disconnecting power; otherwise turn it off and unplug it before opening the door, removing the filter, or scooping water.

First classify the symptom from a dry, safe position: a completely dark panel suggests the supply, fuse/breaker, plug or internal power path, while a lit panel that does nothing points more toward the exact start sequence, door lock, delay/child-lock setting, or a model-specific fault.
