A Beko dryer cycle that does not complete should first be separated into a mid-cycle stop, an early end with damp laundry, a cycle that never starts, or a drum that stops turning. For a non-plumbed dryer, empty the water tank; clean the lint filter after each cycle and the filter drawer or condenser when the model indicates; and use the program and load size suited to the laundry.

Do not force a Beko dryer door. First identify whether the padlock symbol means the child lock is active, whether laundry is caught in the door seal, whether a program is still running, or whether the dryer has lost power.

When a Beko dryer displays an error or warning, photograph or write down the exact code, symbol, and when it appeared before clearing anything; Beko error meanings and controls vary by model. With the dryer cool, use only the model manual's user checks: clean and correctly refit the lint filter, clean the condenser or evaporator only if your model specifies it, empty a full water tank, check an accessible drain hose for a kink, and make sure the door is fully closed.

If the odor is gas-like, stop using the Beko dryer and treat it as a gas-safety event: do not create flames or operate switches near the odor, leave if it persists, and contact the local gas emergency service from a safe location. If the odor is instead lint, fuel residue, or hot plastic, keep the dryer off until the load, filter, venting, and installation can be checked; do not open the cabinet or gas train.

First note the sound and whether drying still works. On a Beko heat-pump dryer, occasional metallic compressor vibration and pumping sounds can be normal.

If a Beko dryer leaves clothes damp after a full cycle, begin with the load and airflow rather than replacing a part. Check that the clothes were spun adequately, the program matches the fabric, the drum is neither overloaded nor so lightly loaded that the sensor cannot read it, and wet items were not added mid-cycle.

If a Beko dryer is not heating or clothes stay wet, first confirm that the selected program suits the load and that the dryer is not overloaded. With the appliance stopped and cool, clean the door lint filter and, when fitted, the condenser or filter drawer, and make sure external airflow openings are not blocked.

If a Beko dryer is not spinning, first make sure the door is fully closed, a program has been selected and started, and there is no child lock or delay setting shown. With the dryer switched off and cool, turn the drum gently by hand only as an external observation: normal resistance, a drum that turns unusually freely, or a drum that is jammed point to different branches.

For a Beko dryer that will not start, first confirm a working power supply, a fully closed door, a selected programme, and a deliberate press of Start/Pause. Then check the child lock, delay setting, full water tank, and any kinked direct-drain hose if your model uses them.

First check whether the programme has actually ended. Some Beko models run a wrinkle-prevention programme that tumbles the load at intervals after drying; that is different from continuous heating.

If a Beko dryer will not turn on, first separate a blank display from a dryer that has power but will not start a programme. Check the plug, socket, protective device, and visibly damaged cord without using an extension cable.

Start by separating a Beko dryer that has no display from one that lights up but will not run, stops mid-cycle, or runs without drying. Check household power, close the door firmly, and rule out the model-specific child lock.

If a Beko dryer or its laundry is hotter than normal, smells scorched, smokes, or stops during a cycle, stop using it and treat the symptom as a fire-safety concern. If there is smoke, flame, or a burning odor, leave the area and contact emergency help; do not open the appliance or keep testing.
