Start by selecting the cycle and temperature in the order shown by the model manual, then check the home's hot water and the external hot and cold hose connections.

An LG washer may refuse or interrupt spin when the load is bunched, the machine is not level, water has not drained, the door or lid is not confirmed closed, or a model-specific error is active. First stop for leaking water, violent movement, metal-on-metal scraping, smoke, burning smell, sparks, a hot cord, or repeated breaker trips.

First separate an LG washer with no display or response from one whose display works but which will not begin a cycle. If the area is dry and there is no leaking water near electrical parts, smoke, burning smell, sparks, a hot outlet, damaged cord, or repeated tripping, check that the washer is plugged directly into a sound wall outlet and inspect the household breaker or GFCI as safely accessible.
