A Normal-cycle display that reaches 36 or 41 minutes is not, by itself, a 36/41-minute fault code or proof that the control board has failed. LG identifies the LDP6797ST as a top-control dishwasher, and its owner manual says the displayed cycle time is estimated and can differ from actual running time because of options, soil level, water temperature, and water hardness.

On an LG LDP6810SS, bE means a bubble error: LG says excessive suds can trigger it to help prevent leakage. Frequent use does not prove a failed pump or board; repeated cycles can simply expose detergent, rinse-aid, or pre-wash soap that leaves foam in the sump.

Treat the display as a character-identification issue first: the US owner's manual associated with the LG LDS5040ST support page lists 1E (one-E) as a water inlet problem, while LG's current dishwasher guide uses IE (capital I-E) and explicitly distinguishes it from E1. Photograph the display and confirm the complete model before applying either meaning.

Do not decide to replace the LG LDT5678SS from the word whirring alone. First record when the noise occurs, pause the cycle and check that dishes or utensils are not touching the spray path, then inspect and reseat the accessible filter according to the LG manual.
